Our silicone watch bands are made from the world's highest grade rubber: Nitrile Butadiene Rubber. NBR is used in the automotive and aeronautical industry. It is used in the nuclear industry to make protective gloves. NBR's stability at temperatures from −40 to 108 °C (−40 to 226 °F) makes it an ideal material for aeronautical applications. Definitely happy with the chain, there’s a lot of choices out there, and I’ve had other options where the chain is good but the clasp is uncomfortable. The clasp on this chain is what makes it a great choice, doesn’t dig into your neck. Highly recommend!
